Evans is a life-long resident of Clarksville who graduated from Clarksville High School and then earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He has been dedicated to the community through various endeavors over the years. He has served as president of the Downtown Kiwanis Club, president of Clarksville National Little League, and currently serves on the APSU Foundation Investment Committee, Community Health Foundation Board, and is a member of the Chamber of Commerce. Evans is married to Lori Daniels Peay, and together they have three adult sons.
He has been a Financial Advisor since 1993, and in 2012, Evans founded Peay and Company and joined Raymond James with the vision of creating the premier wealth management practice in Clarksville to help clients achieve their financial goals. In the years since, Peay and Company has grown to serve clients in 20 states and the team has total client assets of about $396 million from its offices in Clarksville, Tennessee, and Hopkinsville, Kentucky, as of May 23, 2025. Our team members have more than fifty years of experience helping clients with their finances.
